He founded The Vikrant Group with the ideal of offering an unsurpassed wealth management journey. By combining an elite level of knowledge with his commitment to helping people live their dreams, Mo provides individuals, families and business owners with a comprehensive, disciplined and empowering financial roadmap.

Mo joined ScotiaMcLeod® in 1999 after working with two of Canada’s other top five banks. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Carleton University, completed the Family Enterprise Advisor Program at UBC Sauder School of Business and attended the Blockchain Strategy Programme at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, and is certified as a professional interpener and sommelier.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she played varsity soccer, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications with a minor in Psychology.

Sarah began her investment career on the sales team at Dynamic Funds and joined ScotiaMcLeod® in 2010. She has supported advisor teams and most recently was part of the firm’s management team, setting strategy and helping to execute projects to support advisory businesses. She most recently joined the Vikrant Group in 2018.

Sarah is an IIROC licensed Investment Associate, having completed the Wealth Management Essentials Course & Investment Advisor Training Program with the Canadian Securities Institute. She continues to help clients with their financial security and needs, as well as managing the financial planning process, trading, client reviews and developing her talent for sales and building relationships.

In her spare time she formerly volunteered for the United Way for three years, has participated in the Telus Day of Giving Tree Planting event, and takes part in the Camp Trillium Team Up Challenge with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Cello Music Performance. After graduating in 2009, she commenced a brief music career before entering the financial industry as a Head Customer Service Representative at Scotiabank. Here she developed a passion for assisting clients with their daily banking activities, recognizing their financial needs, and navigating banking procedures.

Upon completing the Canadian Securities Course in 2012, Hannah moved to ScotiaMcLeod® as a fully licensed Administrative Associate to further her passion for client service and investing at a full-service brokerage firm. In 2014, she joined the Vikrant Group to assist with day-to-day business operations by opening investment accounts, verifying documentation, processing transfers, facilitating equity and mutual fund orders, monitoring account activities, and ensuring everything flows smoothly. Hannah’s attention to detail enhances our clients’ experience.

Born in Toronto and raised in Hamilton, Hannah is an active cellist, an avid home chef and a movie enthusiast. She and her husband, John, are members of the Gooderham and Worts Neighbourhood Association at the Distillery Historic District, where they volunteer for community events.

Joy brings over 18 years of experience in the operations and administration field and joined Scotia Wealth Management in 2010. She received her Canadian Securities license in 2019.

Joy is a great listener and is always willing to take the time to understand her clients’ unique needs and help them come up with tailored solutions. She is an enthusiastic team player and always has the best interests of her clients at heart.

In her free time, Joy loves spending time with her family and her pets. She is passionate about giving back to the community and has participated in fundraising events for Durham Children’s Aid Society.

Jay first joined the financial services industry in 2002 where he has held various advanced planning roles. He worked primarily in the high and ultra high net worth space creating tax strategies to preserve and maximize wealth. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Jay practiced law for several years which included an assignment with the Tax Policy Branch of the Federal Department of Finance in Ottawa. In this role, Jay worked to improve the efficiency of Canada’s taxation system in the Capital Gains and Foreign Income Section. Jay received his B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Manitoba where he won the Stikeman Elliot/Carswell National Tax Award for the highest aggregate grades in taxation courses. Jay has obtained both his CLU and TEP designations, and has been called to the bar in both Ontario and Manitoba.

Sandra joined Scotia Wealth Management in 2002 and has 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. She offers client and business solutions to a broad range of client profiles in the areas of retirement, risk management, tax-efficient strategies and estate planning. Sandra prides herself on offering a holistic approach to each unique client situation. She is also life licensed in Ontario.

Based in Markham, Ontario, I provide my clients with customized credit facilities, giving them the ability to act on investment opportunities as they arise.  I oversee the delivery of their day-to-day banking needs with the utmost attention to detail and take a holistic approach by utilizing the entire Bank and its arsenal of advisors and specialist partners to ensure we manage and grow our client’s wealth for the next generation.

Since joining Scotiabank in 2008, I have taken on several roles, including Senior Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking, providing advice and managing upper Mid-Market commercial clients; Manager – Small Business, leading a team with a focus on Health Care Professionals; and Account Manager – Small Business and Retail.

In addition to having more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, I have earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
